Thank you for supporting our annual magazine drive. This is our only all-school fundraiser throughout the year, and we hope you continue to buy or renew your favorite magazine through our school. Magazines make great gifts too. 
 
You can participate by clicking the link below and ordering online. Online orders save several weeks on processing time.
 
Although the official fundraising sale will end on September 28, you may still place online orders throughout the school year.

DISTRICT 202 ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  1. ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM:  The District 202 Online Payment System lets families pay their school fees online and track their financial obligations throughout the year. The system also reduces manual data entry for bookkeepers and secretaries, improves accurate record keeping and allows student fee data to be updated within 72 hours. We hope you find this new tool helpful as District 202 continues to strive to use our community’s resources effectively and efficiently. A link to the Online Payment System is posted on all school web sites and the District 202 web site (www.psd202.org)
  2. CONNECT-ED INFORMATION:  District 202 uses the Connect-ED telephone messaging system to personally share important information with our community about issues ranging from local building-level matters to district-wide emergencies. It is very important that we have the correct contact information for the Connect-ED system to work properly. Please call the school immediately when changing your family contact information, or use the online Connect-ED self-correction system. Go to: http://www.psd202.org/connected.php
  3. LATE START SCHEDULE: District 202 has added a new “Late Start Schedule” to its options for inclement weather, so that schools may start two hours later than normal and still end on time, rather than closing altogether. District 202 will notify families of school closings, or delayed starts, through the Connect-ED telephone message system; local and regional print and broadcast media; the District 202 web site (www.psd202.org); and the "Emergency Closings" web site (www.emergencyclosings.com) More information is posted on the district web site under "Schools" and "General Information."
  4. VIRTUAL BACKPACK:  District 202 uses the Virtual Backpack online system to share printed materials from outside organizations with families. The Virtual Backpack saves money, time and resources. Please check out the Virtual Backpack on the front page of our web site, the district website and in each week's "Education Partners" email newsletter, which goes to every email address in the student data base.
  5. EDUCATION PARTNERS EMAIL NEWSLETTER --  Each week District 202 updates its community through the "District 202 Education Partners" electronic newsletter. This is the most direct source of information about what is happening in District 202. The Education Partners is automatically sent to every email in the student data base.
